Torn up clothes and rebel nature
doesn't mean you're counterculture

You're still a product
No different than
a weekend maller
with a popped collar

You don't know better
don't kid yourself
it doesn't matter
if you don't

You're still an asshole
elitist variable
no one knows
including you

You're still just a stupid monkey
Your brain isn't big enough
To fix all the rotten stuff
You disagree with these days

If problems were
as easy to fix
as sitting on your ass
smoking thai sticks

We'd be in eden under the perfect sun
having fun with bongo drums
Eating fruit and shooting guns
With magic bullets that kill no one

Maybe that unwarranted self satisfaction
Might be warranted after all

But yah, counterculture-culture is an endless loop, you cant have one without the other, and often time the two switch, just do your own thang, even if it presents you in the "mainstrea"

Not that there arent kids that arent a product of some niche, who have been so ingrained with ideas not necessarily their own, yadadadi
