White Fluff?

About 4 days ago I put my first cake in the terrarium. It seems to be growing white fluffy stuff, I know this is normal or could mean your humidity is to high. My question is what is to much (white fluff) and what exactly do pin heads looks like. pics would be great. Thanks.

Yeah thats exactly what my first cake is doing.... just alot of white fuzzy clumps... Its been that way for two days now... I hope it pins soon!!!

They knots kind of look like lil white nerds(the candy) not really fluffy. The fluffy stuff is probably the myc. trying to colonaize probably the dry verm layer you had(assuming) it is just growing. That is good

So it should start pinning any time after I see the lil white nerds? 'Cause thats how it has been for 3 or 4 days.... It will probably pin tomorrow while I am at work. My shit never does anything on the weekends when I have all the time in the world to sit and enjoy just looking at 'em.

looks like pinning is about to start. the white fuzz is probably mycelium spreading which is good maybe try fanning a bit more after you get pins
