monotubs and premature penis's.

decided to throw some monotubs together a while back...
finally took some pictures tonight.



i did the minimum on everything and slacked off on this grow...
no effort was really put into it, thats how the monotub is supposed to be
they just sat there in the corner with a fan oscillating.



1 brick coir and 3 quart jars WBS per tub, 6 bricks coir 18 jars total.
i took my chances to see how far i could stretch coir
i really slacked on spawn ratio, quart jars were 3/4 full
it ended up being like 1:5 :eek:

blue tubs are B+, tan tubs PE
only opened up one tub of each strain, all tubs look about the same.



i've been doing multispore B+ for over a year now
i like big ass fruits <<< hence the name large_dose
this tub was ready to harvest already.



also my first run of PE...
i've always wanted to do these, hope they get a boner.
its just too weird, love/hate strain?..i love it. :heart::heart::heart:

i'll update with a detailed grow log after all the fruits mature
till then... keep tokin.

loooookin gooood! so you didnt put a casing layer on??? i had a monotub going and then i moved so i left it to my roommate, and its been in the dark SuPeRcOlOnIzInG for the last 2 months. i just recently told him to put it in some light and not try and mess with a casing layer and risk contam..... think its still ok? it was 2qts popcorn spawned to however much coir i put in there...???

thats what dose's looks like. and thats what mine/now a friends is too. but im wondering if after letting it sit in the dark for 2 1/2+ months if its ok to take it out now, and induce light and skip a casing layer????

sounds like you need to do some reading...
2 months is a long time to colonize, why did you let it sit that long?

casing layer was 50/50+ and the coir had some coffee and verm thrown in.
you can refer to my journal to see how these tubs were made until i get a log up

even though i doubled the coir, i still used the same amount of spawn.

i dont advise the minimum but it will work.
the low spawn rate had a noticable impact on pinset and fruit size...
i like a 1:2 rate with coir for good results every time.

PE fruits are almost mature, i'll update with pics tonight
