Well Mycellium 5150, I am not in SF but I managed to pick 245 small cold baby Psilocybe cyanescens yesterday here in Seattle. There are still some areas where the shrooms are coming up soradically.

I saw your mushrooms. They were right next to the coprinus comatus which were deliquesing. To the left, there was a giant cluster of gymnopilus spectabilis, which was giving off orange spores everywhere.
The cyanescens should be popping up in about a week or two because we're supposed to get rain soon.

Thanks azure,
i was thinking about goiong back down to the spot in a week or 2 after this rain, its finally raining! maybe my azure patch will kick in. Azure, did you happen to be the guy i talked to by the cyan display, it was funny, caps and i were looking for them because we knew they put them out and as soon as we saw them 2 guys pointed them out to us and said those are the good ones, i smiled and then told them that i found them and donated tehm to the fair. They were all stoked becaus ei guess this hasnt been a good year for cyans, i sort of told them were i found them but wouldnt give them the exact details, only because other ppl havent ever told me exactly were to find them. Well iguess i will go back in 2 weeks, maybe see you around.

If you're a middle aged adult, then I did. However, the person speaking to me didn't mention the cyanescens, but rather explained the deliquesing nature of the shaggy manes. I was with my friend, and we're just youngsters. Ironically, the person behind the table said the only mushrooms worthy of eating on that display table was the coprinus comatus, but I was like what the fuck...
Today(Tuesday) I noticed a Bay Area patch beginning to pin, and this misting rain is perfect. However, I don't know if the temperature is cold enough for the azures right now.

Damn it I need to find me a hunting pal that knows what they are doing...It sound like there are lots of shrooms growing around San Fran and no one I know, knows a damn thing. I guess I'll just have to wander around endlessly through the streets of san fran! hehehe

You lucky bastards!!!

Karen
buckets of shrooms growing around the city and all I want is a little handful *sigh*
