Roads cheap ass spore-in-ate-her

I use Gerber baby food jars for making spore syringes.
They are great!

Eat the apple sauce out....or feed it to your kids.....I fucking hate the stuff!!
wash it out good.....shove it in the dishwasher.
I have a tatoo dri-clave sterilizer.....so I shove them in there....after washing in the dishwasher.
You can wipe them out with 99% alcohol....if your so inclined.

Drill a hole in the lid and put a bead of silicone on it.

If you don't have a glove box....spray the air with Lysol.

When your ready to use....scrape your spores in and add water.
Shake it up....and you can insert the syringe in through the silicone.

Works like a charm!

I have an idea....I have the top pieces on some empty viles of ketamine I saved. I will do the same thing, only I'll drill a hole in the lid to fit the self healing rubber thingie and hot glue it in there....YEAH!

My friend does that too, never thought of the silicon though, he uses electrical tape... The slicon stop rusting?

he has a print in a baby food jar, but hasnt added water yet, will it store ok w/o the water for a few months? He plans on using the syringe to add about 20cc steril water and shake it, then draw the water back out... That'll work right?

I have the myco starter which is just like what your talking about on the jar can't wait to use it

I just tinker with ideas....I have all my life.

Someone said once.....that they started looking at everything to see if they could use it in cultivation.....I do this now and then.

Yeah silicone stops the lid from rusting after you drill a hole in it.
But it also stops contams from entering the baby food jar.
I forgot.....wipe the silicone with alcohol before inserting the syringe.
I use a cotton ball with some 99% alcohol.
Some dust or nasties might float around in your room and land on the silicone.

I also spray the room really good with Lysol.....who ever invented Lysol is a GOD!

Think I'll post pictures of my print maker soon....lolz

Please don't tell me that you are taking the syringe apart and dumping some spores in it then adding water......then putting the plunger back in.
If you are doing this..... you are really taking some chances with getting contams.

If you need some better quality prints....I'll hook you up.

This is a 14 year old thread. But yea you can use them however twist lids on agar containers usually complicate thing IME

I just make big lc runs with them. 40 4 oz jars 80% filled with grain water enough of bombs to do wonders. Yea I always wonder how people find 10 plus year old threads then common on it
