looking for help on a tattoo design

so anyone who's experienced in designing tattoos (especially tribals & patterns) should give me a shout.

the general idea is of a b & w lyrics on the back of my neck, which i'd like to decorate with some tribal elements.

you'll have to elaborate more on what you want the artistic element to communicate.

Ill do it for free but im keeping the original for my portfolio along with your request as an example of how i can take commissions, deal?

id say that guy could probably sell you rights for his at a good deal if you provide him with photos of how creatively it can be used,
personally i would need more of a description than an example,
artistic honor and all, I'm not interested in following someone elses lead and steal their ideas when it comes to design, If you found someone to reproduce another persons style so flagrantly and saved yourself money by avoiding paying the person who came up with the original concept and clearly cared about it...
I certainly couldn't use that in my portfolio... THEN you problably wouldn't be the sort of person i would want to do a free commission for.

Theres no such thing as free art, theres ALWAYS a catch.
An artist would appreciate that.
it's the very point of art, that it has value, not necessarily money, but worth, ANYTHING with worth can be stolen.

What you suggest, in principle (to me) is stealing.

If you can't see a use for my style on its own merrit that would communicate the vision you intend to adorn yourself with FOREVER, then I can't help you.
