Thanks, Psilocymon- the photos are coming off digital video I'm putting together for a mushroom hunting video. I was thinking Baeos myself, the cap has that greenish color thing going on and some of the gun-metal blue that is common to baeos - but the stem is not very pale, and is rather wide, and the lack of bluing and the relatively small cap throw me a bit as well as the cespitose growth... The only other time I'd seen baeos from wood chips they were gregarious in growth and had much liter stems, which blued easily - But these are almost certainly psilocybes, spore print, pellicle, umbo, habitat, bluing aspect, season, all of it points that way. I don't have a microscope, so I can't look at the spores, - not that I'd know what I was looking at - so I can't be sure of it... I'm damn curious though. Cause I have about a pound of them drying right now. And I don't eat things without a name... matt, so [This message has been edited by mattso (edited November 24, 1999).]

There's no annular ring like blue legs would have. And an uncharectoristically long stem.m
