Hey, guys thank you for help me with my newbie qustions,Hey i got 4 old jars like 3 months with no conts. and little myc. in some places i open it and smell
weird, like dirty soxs, i give him some fresh air and put them in my new close with more temp. and hum...............What you think will work??????????

so you opened the jars to give them fresh air? this is very chancey, you probably just introduced a plethora of contams into the jars. good luck.

Probably already contaminated -- his jars smelled bad when he opened them.

If you only have mycelium in a few places after three months than something is not right. You might not have mixed the substrate properly or maybe the jars were exposed to too much heat. It shouldn't take more than a month for them to colonize if conditions are right.
