Unselect, well, just unselect everything and restart. Try it then.

Then you have some reading to do.

Most likely your computer is infected with a trojan, or several.
There is literally a ton of info on that site that can help you.
Read what advice has been given to people in the past to remove such things.

Go through the standards motions. Get ad-aware, spybot, etc. Run them.

Get HijackThis!. Run it. Do not fix anything. Register on that site. Post a log. Wait for instructions.

I feel sorry for you really...Im glad I heard the dirt about paypal, im happy that I never have used it..I will be sure never to use it now, or E-bay.

Trojans can still get through any antivirus program.. they are not foolproof. Especially if the user lets them get through, like you most likely did by downloading/running/giving your info/whatever to that paypal thing. If it's not a trojan it's some serious malware. But the folks on that site should be able to help you a lot better than I can. If you can't delete the file, there are several programs that allow you to unlock the program locking it so you can delete it. But chances are if the file is protected like that.. once you delete it, it will just reinstall itself. You have to take it out at the source

I've never had a problem with paypal, and I use it on a day-to-day basis :shrug:

i cant believe there are such huge comunities devoted to the removal of this bull shit on computers. the fact of the matter is once you loose integrety of your system you can NEVER trust it again without starting over. Just get comfortable with the idea that you need to format your computer every 6 months or less and do it as a regular maininance. added +'s include your preformance improvment. Its worth it to save your personal info and future data loss.

my advice: Back up your stuff then format your hard drive.
