Im building a walk in terrarium, its 6ft x 4.5, 6ft tall and 4.5 deep. Its completly seald and made of poly on the inside. I have a graet exhaust but im not sure about how to do my fresh air input. Im using a ultrasonic humidifier and have auto control over everthing but how to do the fresh air in is troubling me, should in filter it from outside in or somthing else? Thanks for any ideas you may have. BLUE SKIES

Cut several windows to allow room air to circulate in and out. At least two of those windows should be high, and two low. This allows for natural currents to circulate. RR

yikes, don't do that unless you want to have nice patches of mold in your walls, most houses were not built with 100% humidity in mind
a walk-in terrarium sounds sweet, personally i would go with a big squirrel cage fan to pump in fresh air, with an ultrasonic running you should be able to keep your Rh pretty high, and with the fan you could pump in as much fresh air as you wanted, you could even put it on a timer if need be, if you still have trouble keeping your Rh high with that much air being pumped in then you could always get another ultrasonic or maybe throw a cool mist in there
RR's suggestion would probably be the easiest and most cost efficient though. i just tend to like the overly complicated ways of doing stuff, to me it's a bit more fun and challenging
again, sounds like a kick-ass plan you got, please post some pics when it's ready.
so are you going to put shelves in this thing or is it going to be one huge monotub?

Here's a list of fans available at my fav online surplus store (im not aware of any sponsors that sell these types of fans otherwise i would have listed a sponsor)
http://www.sciplus.com/category.cfm/category/175
I would go with the second one down, SUPER SIZE fan, that thing will pump in a shit load of fresh air, you might need to get an exhaust fan as well depending on how big the setup is, the tricky thing will be keeping the Rh high as you pump in that much fresh air, like i said, you may have to introduce another ultrasonic or cool mist depending on how much FAE you are pumping into the "terrarium"
please post some pics!

you dont need 100% humidity. Cubensis fruits fine at 85% humidity as long as you keep the TRAYS covered during spawn run and pin formation with plastic. No one should do a room full of cakes, that'd be ridiculous.

Thanks guys thats what im looking for. Ive had a grow room for other things but fungi is new to me and sounds like fun, I was not clear on fresh air in thought and this is some help. Ill do one opening with forced air throught a hepa filter I thank, that way we cut down on the unwanted critters getting in. Ive installed an exhaust that removes all the air in about 0.75 min so thats not a problem and maybe all I need if the hepa filter air is allowed to pass air freely without a fan if you follow me. The exhaust blower is 1000 cfm so it should pull the air in at the same time. Anyway thanks a bunch guys and BLUE SKIES!!!!
Oh and yes im putting in shelves I hung them last night, there 5ft 10in long x3 with 2 ft between each and at the end I have a samll table for a glove box and work sation.

I'm almost done, the ultrasonic misters will be in on the 16th and the temperature/humidity controller maybe Monday but everything is done for now! The fruiting chamber is 6'x6' and 20" deep with the remainder of the room to work in. Ill post some pics the next day or two, I just got a camera today.

Cool I suppose if you can keep the humidity up. Get a gauge and let us know .

haha can i come chill in ur terrarium....dont get to say that too often..
i second the high low thing....make sure input air is high and output air is low so you dont end up with any dead air pockets...

I'm using 2, 3 head ultrasonic misters with 2 inlets at the upper level. The problem is the temp, but I'm thanking that a 100 gal. under the tank reptile heater will fix that. Ill add some more pics when I get more done, and start my first run.

Today I added a radiant heater so the low temps fixed and I have my misters ready to go and they displace 270ml/hour so I'm thanking thats going to work with my chamber. Maybe just one of them will be good. The temp and Rh are controlled by a C.A.P AIR-2 so all thats needed is to set it and go!!!! I'm new so any help you guys can give will be great.

A little closer to done. The glove box is done and the misters in place, just have to put the misters in and test it.

is that the only thing running, the cool mist?
you will likely need to add an ultrasonic to keep the Rh high enough

Yes I have 2, 3 head ultrasonic misters to put into the cool mist!
I may only need 1 at a time , what do you thank?
They displace 270 ml/hr and thats a lot of what.

I could use some help to clear up an area of concern for me. After the BRF cakes are fully inoculated and cased what should I do with it? I'm not sure about the temp and RH at this point, I know that they need dark and warmth but I would like exact directions. Any help my friends would be great!
By the end of the week 12, 1/2 pint jars of P.E will be in the incubator and my FC has been tested and works really well The trouble with a FC this size is going to be keeping the water off the bottom I thank but its going to be fun. THX
