getting busted by the cops for growing shrooms...

ok on an earlier post someone said that you can land your ass a nice 8 yrs in prison for growing shrooms...im just wondering if this is true and if it would be the same time for a minor but only in juvi? (also im from canada so im sure their law on this is different from the states, europe, ect.)

What part of Canada are you from?

I live in Ontario, and it's legal to grow them here in Ont, but if you're caught with dried mushies, you're in shit.

awsome...im from ontario too! i wasnt worried about dried mushrooms because those will be easy enuf to stash away, i was just kinda worried about having a huge box filled with growing mushrooms in it...thanx!

in greece the things are easier than there!!! if a cop arrests oyu with dried shrooms he will tell you "what is this??? weed???you stupid kid! say that you'll vever smoke weed again!!!" na dthen he'll let you free;-pppp

stupid greek cops! they don't even know what are the magic mushrooms!

but even if they knew, and they arrest you you can give them lets say 100-200$ and you are free!!! every man here can be paid and do whatever you tell him to do...

fuckin' money... these things(money) are worse than the worst drugs

actually thats not too far from the truth. I had a friend that got caught with a half ounce of weed and a double bubble in a park in El Paso. Two cops beat him (one with a baton the other with a mag-lite flashlight) then took his weed and broke his bong. He didn't get arrested though

As far as shrooms go, I'd say they're a little more to the law about it. The same friend was brought into the station a few months earlier and threatened with a couple months in prison because he got caught at school with drawings of mushrooms in his art folder. A couple months ain't bad, but for drawings....sheeeet.

I have a couple of questions about being caught with shrooms. First off, how easy is it to even get caught with shrooms? It just doesn't seem plausible to me that a cop could know that you had shrooms with you unless a big-time snitch tattled on you. It seems that it's also pretty easy to hide shrooms, and you are rid of the evidence fairly quickly because, well, you eat the shrooms. What if a cop found out you were under the influence of shrooms, but there were none on your person? What kinds of laws exist for being under the influence of shrooms? Keep in mind I live in Oklahoma.

You may get public intoxication. Thats only if you admit to being on anything as the drug tests for psilocybin are pretty expensive and rare. In FL, its legal to pick psilocybes fresh, but if your caught with them dried or trying to eat them, its about as harsh as a weed charge.

Thats crazy what they did to your friend for having drawings of mushrooms. last time I checked drawings of any kind were legal to own(exept child porn) When I was still in school I did lots of drawings of mushrooms and never got in shit for it. My art teacher liked them so much he asked if he could keep one. My art teacher was an ex-hippie so that might explain it. Oh yeah, I heard they changed the mushroom cultivation laws in Canada its now illegal to grow shrooms. I wouldnt be to worried about growing them in your house there is pretty much no chance you will get caught unless a friend rats on you or your caught with a large amount of dried shrooms(they might search your house if they think your dealing)
