It's fun haha...

I won the "most random" superlative in highschool if that tells you anything about me...
so I probably would've done that in public actually.
My friends started swing dancing in the middle of a busy starbucks once.

I once did a cartwheel in a Circuit City. That was relieving.

I once gave my friend a piggyback ride in the liquor store.

They refused to serve us.

I've been known to watch old 1970s Doctor Who episodes - the Tom Baker era.

I used to be a huge Who fan as a kid and I now find them hyterically funny.

This thread is awesome...I'm so glad I stopped in to read each entry!

Dancing, singing, jousting, cartwheels...lovely self-expression y'all.

I dance in front of the mirror and away from it when I just want to move in a large space which the mirror doesn't cover.

Right b/f I turned 18 I figured I'd never get a chance to do it again so my best friend and I both did cartwheels on Younge Street in Toronto (Like 5th Ave in NY). We watched for months for the opportunity to do it w/o getting killed. There was some construction going on that blocked part of the traffic on one side and we both agreed..."This is it!". Then we beat it on down into the subway where we were going anyway. Hee hee.

I like dressing sexy alone in my own room. Sometimes I tone it down and let my husband see me like that. I'm 45 after all... I no longer need to get his attention "like that". It's sufficient to get into bed dressed in a skirt and let him discover that there's nothing under the skirt but moi.

Anyone remembering the Naked Men Thread knows that when Tiny R.B. says he was in cowboy stuff and his undies....it was something to see!

Two straight guys sharing the same space and dancing just because they love the music and want to move and are comfortable with the other there is SO cool and together and with it and stuff like that there. See...told you I'm 45...I just gave you my best '70's positive expletives.

Some Grateful Dead music is just MADE for dancing!

We were actually taught how to dramatize dances in Jr. High gym class (circa: 1975). It comes easier to me now but somehow feels juvinile due to my association with it. I'll do it if you will Moth dear.

wow...seems like I'm not the only person that dances when there's no one else around  :mjdance:

Singing at the top of my voice is another one. I'm a pretty decent singer but I have a problem singing in small groups but when I'm alone I basically throw my own little concert.

And of course there's my favorite activity :whacker:

the discussion has really started to go off-topic, which isn't a huge deal but the topic itself is a little uncanny to wake up to. I'm an undergraduate anthropology student and I am in a field methods of cultural anthropology class right now. Simply I have a research project where I am in a rather truncated amount of time trying to collect information and present it at a state undergraduate anthropology conference as my final. my topic is: What college students due in their free time when alone. I am in the process of creating the survey right now and I think I am now going to put on there dancing.

As far as dancing goes I do dance on occasion, most often in front of a mirror. Most often though I spend my little bits of free time outdoors or in front of a computer.

Maybe I'll be back here too
It all depends on what's with you

Before I left to come here to work, I danced my ass off to Jens Lekman alone in my apartment, and boy was it liberating.
