I've read/heard otherwise. I read that the majority of poppy seeds in the food industry are the leftover seeds from the poppies that pharmaceutical companies uses to produce their products.
Pharm companies are all about money, so why not make some extra change selling their garbage to food companies? Makes sense to me.

I doubt the seeds from the G. store are viable.

ive herd they are viable from the grocery store. I bought 4 different brands and none of them grew shit in 2 months, i then sprinkled some vendor poppy seeds across some dirt and a couple weeks later it was completely covered in tiny green plants. Just ask the regulars of the ethno garden if they have any seeds they will send you for a couple bucks. Some of them might just give them to you for free cause we all have more than we will ever use. Id send ya some but im out of padded envelopes and stamps.
