When they interview you, tell them you know what Jury Nullification is.
They'll drop you like a hot potato.

Get a job.
I just throw them out. When they send me a summons return receipt requested I'll go. Otherwise they go in the circular file.

Which apparently explains a lot of jury verdicts.

When they stop giving my money away to lazy breeders, then I will start participating in jury duty. Until then, I have paid my dues.

What benefits? Assholes tried before retards who let them go.
Just kidding. There used to be an exception for people like me, i.e. irreplaceable small business owners. If I'm out, everybody's out. And they don't get paid when they don't work.

My grandfather did the same thing every time. When they read the questionaire that says how do you feel about blacks and puerto ricans and his response was "everyone should own one" works every time! Or just say they are innocent no matter what and you will be out quick...lol

Zzzap is right again, as usual.
People don't need to be concerned about their justice system. They need to realize that their priorities don't lie in fair justice for their neighbours; your neighbour might be a terrorist for all you know! They don't deserve fair justice anyway. People need to put making money as their first priority, and keeping their business open to keep the system of consumption going. That's what America is all about.

Given that we had to cough up over $200,000 in taxes last year I don't feel real indulged. You know who else gets out of jury duty almost every time? Lawyers. Neither side wants them on the jury.

Fair justice because of a jury? While OJ remains free? You should be happy I stay away. They don't call me "Hang 'em High Zap" for nothing.
Did you miss the part where I said everybody else gets to stay home if I'm not there? Is that fair to them? Unlike most people, I am not an easily replaceable cipher. My greater obligations are to my family and my employees.

And you know what? When a juror gets paid enough for his parking and gas costs, let alone lost wages, even as the liars... uh, I mean the lawyers get $300 an hour, I'll be more receptive to jury duty.
And don't get me started on OJ! Grrr.

If you can cough up that kind of money don't expect my sympathy, you obviously have lots of cash to play with. Why do folk who pay high taxes because they make big bucks think they are paying the lions share? Most folk pay much less tax but also make much less. I'll cry you a river later.
Unfortunately those who want to be on a jury are just the folk that I don't see as my peers. I want the ones who don't want to be there.

The peer system worked 200 years ago when just about everyone was a farmer. Today, you're unlikely to find a jury of your peers.
Other countries have solved that problem by using professional jurors instead of civilians. These are people who are not lawyers, but who do have enough training to make rational decisions aligned with common sense and the law instead of emotion. They also make a salary and do this as a job, so there is no resentment at having their lives interrupted like happens with civilian jurors who start out already in a bad mood.
Professional jurors would make civil liability pay outs in this country sane (and liability insurance premiums to drop). Unfortunately, since lawyers make the laws and also make a great living chasing ambulances, it will never happen.
