Hallucinate with Goggles

I ran across this article just surfing the web one day and want to know if it is true. I do not have nor know where to get blue toilet paper so i can not try this myself.
so you take old diving goggles, and tape blue toilet paper to the eye piece. Then just lay down and look at a light bulb. The goggles will make the bulb look like a uniform blue field. Since your eyes had nothing to focus on your brain hallucinates to keep itself busy.
anyone heard of or care to try

if you know you halicinating then its not a halucination. Halucination means you dont realise what your seeing is not real. What your talking about is drug indiced visual distortions. there is a big difference.

I do not believe this to be true. A hallucination by defintion is a sensory experience of something that does not exist outside the mind, caused by various physical and mental disorders, or by reaction to certain toxic substances, and usually manifested as visual or auditory images.
When i take mushrooms i can see colors, patterns, and breathing walls and i know its not real but it is still a hallucination.
And as far as me talking about drug induced visuals. I dont think you can hardly classify looking at a light with goggles on a drug.

okay maybe not drug induced, but they are visual distortions. I was going off something i read in Shulgins book regarding halucinations, he said basically what i did, but after checking the definition it doesnt get that specific. Weird.

For the low, low price of only two hundred and fifty bucks... almost three hundred if you want the optional bluelight goggles.
For some awesome visuals I'd rather put that towards a sheet of blotter.

i just layed in bed with two pieces taped to my eyebrow covering my eyes as i looked at a light bulb for 15 minutes.
Nothing major happened, however about 10 minutes in the light bulb seemed to be moving up and down. At one point i actually had to shift my focus up so i could keep vision on it. Weird

No, you're referring to being delirious. In delirium you honestly believe what you see to be there.

i have the i-doser with all drugs. at first i jumped right into heroine and peyote expecting maximum effects, but came up disappointed. then i started doing research on the binaural beats and came across some information to get this shit working.
1. You have to familiarize your brain with these beats. I found opium to take i believe 7-10 tries before getting effects.
2. Earphones are the biggest key. I had these dollar store ear buds i use to listen to them on. But found out the clearer you can hear the beats the more effect it's going to have. I went to the pawn store and got these Bose earphones for $25. They are nice.
3. Concentrate on the beats. I found it rather impossible to concentrate on these beats at first. My mind always seemed to wander off into space. But to effectively pick up effects in limited time you must force your brain to solely concentrate on these sounds. The last thing you want to do is anticipate the drug effects. I find it easy now, especially on the hallucinogen ones because i start to hear music that isn't their.
4. Relax. Calm down relax piss prior, everything you need done should be done. Make sure no body part is touching, like arms or legs crossed. really get into relaxation.
now i have superior effects in just a couple of minutes after turning on the beats. And anyone who says you can't visually hallucinate on just music is mis-directed.
4–7 Hz Theta waves Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep < 4 Hz Delta waves Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness.
If you can get your brain waves down to these levels you will basically start dreaming while your awake. Pretty cool actually. they have a dose called hand of god. It must get your brain waves down to the 1 area. Really intense and kinda scary.
Now that i got all off topic....Totse has given me pretty good information in the past. I will say some of the articles are mis-leading and inaccurate but in the mist of all the junk is some quality information.

I thought this said, "Hallucinate with Google," and though to myself, "Gee, now they've thought of everything."
