Our conures

I posted a little while ago about getting a Black Capped Conure. Well, I got him a few weeks ago and love every minute I spend with the little bugger. Here's a pic of my black cap, Loki, (right) and my partner's green cheek conure named Diddles. Her conure is about a year old while mine is only a few months. They get along great with each other and we're careful not to let them bond to each other too much.



Loki's flight feathers were clipped when I got him but that hasn't stopped him from fluttering from place to place. He's still really clumsy but cute as all hell. He's going to make an excellent companion for many years.

why is it bad for the birds to bond too much - will they be les apt to play with you if they have each other?

they are beautful by the way. i love birds, ive never seen birds like this before.

my friends parents owned the most annoying bird on this planet! It would squawk as loud as it could every time you walked by. It would also try to bite you any chance it got... he was an asshole:shrug:
