this one is a p. mexicana look alike, but the spores are rusty brown and the color is more orange looking

#1, #2 and #4 are probably from Lepiotaceae family.
A spore print, gills and stem description would help...

To ID these sorts of things we need to know spore print color and what the underside of the cap (the gills and top of the stem) look like. At a minimum, it would help if there were observations on whether the gills were free, attached, decurrent, or whatever. I'll take a wild stab at genus anyway.

#1 Looks like a Lepiota of some sort. Since the scales on the cap are small, I wouldn't consider eating it. Some of the small Lepiotas are deadly.
#2 is interesting. The dark stuff at the very top looks like remnants of universal veil, but the stem looks like it's collecting dark colored spores. The overall form suggests Panaeolus.
#3 you say has rusty colored spores, and it appears to be growing on the ground, not wood. My first guess would be Cortinarius.
#4 has extremely fibrillose caps with such a prominent umbo that they are almost pointed. I would guess Inocybe, which would make the spores brown, and they would be likely to have a strong odor of some sort. Most Inocybes have proven to be poisonous when studied, and most can be identified to species only with a microscope.

If you're out looking for mushrooms and you see one you might want an ID on, go ahead and pick it and bring it home so you can get a spore print or answer questions about it later. The mushrooms in these photos are all mature and have released huge numbers of spores already. You will not harm the fungus by picking the mushroom.
