Ahahahhaa

Ahhaa...

Wait...really?

:mad2:

is it a scam...i've been searching and keep finding different results.  i looked on amazon and found similar products and they all have good ratings.  i would think that someone would have at least gave them a bad rating but no one has.

My friends used those and said it pulled all kinds of brown sludge from their feet. Never tried them myself.

It's a fad. There are all sorts of devices out there which create some sort of dirty-colored stuff to give the illusion of pulling "toxins" out of your body.

How the hell is that physiologically supposed to work? And hell, if those are all "toxins" shouldn't that concentration of them being pulled through the skin of your feet do harm or increase cancer risks?

A big thing I remember hearing about were foot baths that alleged to do this with ionized water... and the water turned brown with use... due to the ionizer rusting

Weird. I saw that commercial the other night and decided to research it. It's bullshit. They have some compound in there that turns brown when it comes in contact with NaCl and water.... the main components of sweat.

Lies.

The feet are a very sweaty part of the body - it would be all too easy to treat a pad with a chemical that responds to the acidity of sweat.
With repeated use, the browning will lessen as the chemical evaporates with use. The placebo effect is extremely powerful and if you think you feel better - you WILL feel better.

Seems like a simple enough scam.
