my sister got me a sweet ass origami kit

it's fuckin cool. it's like a box that has a flap that opens on the side and then it has little drawers... it comes with a shit load of psychedelic looking origami paper, compass, "bone folding tool" and a "Bone scoring tool" and a grid work mat. plus a book explaining basic folds and a few projects.

I need to find instructions on folding origami shrooms.

google here I come!

in other news her BF got my this little remote controlled helicopter. it's fucking badass too, but it's taking me a while to get the hang of flying it... I ultimately crash it into something, but I've yet to break any parts off, like we did to my Dad's bigger helicopter.

anyway, I'm gonna fold something cool.

You can make some pretty badass stuff w/ origami.

I can make a few things (mostly the basics) but my favorite by far is a rose made out of a bar napkin it's easy plus chicks dig it.

i made those out of wriggley's gum wrapper though, as origami paper is way too expensive and i ran out years ago. i know how to make a bunch of other shit, cranes are just the easiest.
