I have come to hate this phrase with every fiber of my being.

Not only is anyone that says it a complete hypocrite for even thinking of it, but mostly all of them are products of their environment and the people around them.

Saying that phrase, proves that, the speaker is copying something some one else has done. (said that phrase). Thus, proving that they follow other people as well.

The saying holds next to no meaning anymore, as people throw it around all the time, in situations where the action in question is nowhere even close to being dangerous.

If you think you've gone throughout life, or are at a place in your life where you believe you don't follow what others do, and still continue to use this phrase, please stop breathing.

that is much more relevant. I like that one a lot more.

First off, because no one ever says what is UNDER the bridge, which is important as hell.

Secondly, because they never say how high up the bridge is. is t 3 feet tall going over a creek?

For the record i'd like to point out that a dead person cannot be drunk and walk around and then get killed AGAIN. Thus your story is fukin weird.

Anywho, back to the bridge... How tall is said bridge? where is said bridge located? bridge jumping into lakes is not uncommon for people do to for fun

what does jumping off of a bridge have to do with anything in the first place?

Especially when used in scenerios like "well ____ got their noise pierced - IF ____ JUMPED OFF A BRIDGE WOULD YOUD IT TOO?!!??!??!?!?!?!?!?"

I do not see the correlation between what I am to assume is suicide and getting a piercing.
