see, thats why i cant get into collage, i know im going to become disillusioned in anything i cultivate an interest for.
any idea what sort of courses i would need to do something like designing and building living enclosures at zoos and conservatories??

I got accepted today into the Engalitcheff Institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems summer internship program for '08.

i'll be livin in DC bein an intern at some agency or some shat.

that would be a pain in the ass..

at my school management is in the business school and econ is liberal arts!

so that would require a totally different core curriculum haha..

would be in college for ev er.

I think it's just because I don't see a point in all the research. I mean..we're just getting more and more advanced but why? Why are we doing this? Why should I work my ass off getting a Ph.D and work in a lab for the rest of my life? I just don't see a point. So we can live forever? Why? So we can genetically alter humans? Why?

I'm torn though. The #1 thing that makes me think otherwise is people being born retarded. That to me is such a massive burden on society. You can't kill the kids when they're born retarded in this society. You are FORCED to deal with that bullshit your whole life. Being able to stop that from happening via genetics is the only saving grace. Stopping disease for healthy people is less of a priority to me.

I've always wanted to bioengineer human genes. There's so many possibilities. I'm easily dissillusioned, but it at least helps knowing you're doing good even if it no longer interests you.
