Re: High Dose LSD Experiences [Re: OneMoreRobot3021]

These days you have no idea what your taking, what exactly is a hit of blotter or a gelcap?

Is it 25 or 50 micrograms?

It may even be less or you may get lucky and score something stronger but you'll never really know.

The most I ever did was in the 70's three or four hits of window pane 300 - 400 micrograms (I don't remember). This was clean high quality acid and a hit of pane was not much larger than the tip of about two ball point pens and was also translucent.

a normal dose for me back then was at least 100 micrograms.

That could be the equivalent of anywhere from 6 - 12 hits of todays blotter however the quality of the acid these days is not even close to back then.

I would never recommend this to anyone!!!!!

Stick to shrooms, you can weigh them out and have a good idea of what your getting into.

15 or so hits of WoW, about 100 mics a piece.

I'm still feeling the after glow of that particular trip. I'm good taking ten at once, or even more for a while. In a way, I only tripped that hard to make my smaller doses stronger. Craziness, though.

I have to disagree with you on your conversions, Ripple...

From some old heads, even, i've been hearing that some of today's acid is some of the best they've ever had.  There is plenty of stuff going around that is 75ug minimum.. 150+ in some cases.

I know if you took 6-12 hits of some of the stuff that's been going around, you'd probably find yourself in a very, very uncomfortable place if you weren't prepared for a 1000ug+ experience.

It is true that it is more.. unreliable.. in dose, than mushrooms.. but, it's just a reason to really know who you're getting it from.  And, in reality, there are some pretty shitty mushrooms out there, too... whether it be from poor cultivation techniques or poor handling.. sometimes 1.5g can be enough for the same person that sometimes needs 3.5+.

Don't give up on acid...

yeah I got some L from sts9 tour kids that was at least 150ug, our friend Wildman who hung with Shulgin a bunch tried it and was AMAZED and offered to buy the remainder we had (no way). it was on white blotter unperf unmarked just little cut lines some drew in.

i had 6 hits my first time. my strongest experience was from 2 1/2 hits of bruce banner... anyone ever heard of it? it had a picture of the hulk.
for my first trip i took 2 hits and waited an hour, but i was used to eating AMT and snorting 5-meo-amt, so i didn't realize acid isn't very visual. so i thought i wasn't tripping much... so i did 4 more. yeah so it turns out you can't tell how much you're tripping by how visual it is...

reading this thread i remembered something i forgot from the bruce banner hits, i spent about half an hour watching schematics that were coming at me very fast. (not watching outside of me, i couldn't really see beyond a few feet, but there was this second visual process going on inside my head that dominated my "vision").

The first time I took LSD I took 4 hits. That's still my highest dosage. It was a beautiful experience.

That's what I was going to say, blotter can range from 20 to 100 mics.

Same goes for Shrooms though, P. Cubensis' psilocybin content varies between 4 - 12 mg per gram, unless grown from an isolated sub-strain.

And the potency of aborts can be up to 10 times stronger...

In my experience the dosage doesn't matter as much as set and setting, the chemical is just a trigger.

I've tripped WAY harder on an 1/8 of shrooms at a TOOL show with thousands of other mutants, than on twice as much at home alone.

i know this is unlikely but some believe it is possible if you were well read on the subject you'd understand. i'm just passing along what I was told from a person who is confident and knows there shit. I found it interesting and thought others may too.

I agree with you yos, I'm basing my information on what I saw going around in past years. If there is a new influx of some high dosage high quality fluff going around it's a surprise to me.

Like it was stated above know your sources!

What's the most LSD you've ever taken? I think different doses probably do different things for different people...I'm just curious as to people's stories. I usually drop 2 at a time, and I've doen 3 on two separate occasions, but both times I had eaten 2 and then ate another later on (and though many people say redosing is a waste...it most certainly was not).

Beat this.

I was at a rave on a farm with my buddy and 15 bucks between the two of us. I was trying to find some crank (which I never EVER do nowadays) at the time to stay up. When that failed I figured we'd look for some acid. It's cheaper and you'll definately stay awake.

We met a kid tripping nuts who called himseld "Crispy". He had a vial of liquid lsd. I gave him 15 bucks for 3 drops (2 for me, 1 for my friend).

He took his dropper and held it over my mouth. You could tell he was fried and his hands were shaking like mad.

Never let a tripping kid named CRISPY adminster LSD to you. He squirted... and suddenly I felt TONS of the liquid just pouring out of my mouth. I was shocked. I knew what that meant. I wanted to warn my buddy next to me but I was standing there motionless in shock for like 5 seconds thinking (oh dear god.. he just gave me a giant PUDDLE of liquid LSD. My other buddy got sprayed also, almost as bad.

Crispy looked at us in this weird acid stare like he was squinting, looking THROUGH us about 50 yards behind our souls and gave his half retarded, half mad scientist giggle and then skipped off.

We looked at each other and knew we were in for a long night.

I can't even describe what that night was like.

Then there was a rave on the beach in Cape Hatteras where I ended up going 4.5 geltabs .. umm.. sort of on accident I guess. THe sky melted and splattered onto the sand in front of me. An aquintence of mine totlaly fflipped on two of them, got naked and did a backflip in front of the DJ table in front of everyone and landed on his back. I saw people laughing and screaming "Oh my god WTF" and running everywhere but I managed to think.. BrAiN you're on a buttload of acid. This can't be real.

Oh it was.
