Back in the early 90s when I had a near limitless supply I went on an psychedelic expedition to see how far I could go. With very little knowledge of what I was doing and no one to guide me through it I started taking ever increasing doses on a regular basis. At my peak it was not uncommon to rip 20 or more hits off of a sheet I was holing and eat 'em all on the spot. And this stuff I was getting in those days was pretty good! All my friends thought I was gonna do some serious damage to myself but I never had any fear or a bad trip. I estimate my largest doses to be around 5000mcg. It ended up being the most influential 18 months of my life and I will never be the same...only better.

I thought I was unique and had done things no one else could understand. Then in the late 90s I discovered this place and was truly humbled by some here who have gone infinitely farther then I could've imagined. Oh, to have had the chance to do a thumbprint when I was ready for it.....

My buddy bought some acid at a rave once. He bought 3 drops from this guy. The guy dropped them like this .....1.....2.....and on the third drop the guy squirted the rest of the dropper into his mouth. He then proceded doing it to 2 of his buddies. Needless to say i dont think they slept for a couple days

the most i've ever taken was a little over a full vial.. i popped the top off a vial and just emptied it into my mouth.. rinsed, repeated.. then someone gave me 2 more hits later on... why? i dunno, he wanted to.

the experience: amazingly fast come-up.. amazing visuals.. amazing lucid thought patterns... a lot of solo time in a tent just being completely overwhelmed by the amount of stimulus.. still totally functional in a social surrounding: i could walk, talk, and dance w/ people no problem.  The visuals didn't really last as long as i thought they would, and I was able to drive the next morning.. though  mentally i still felt like i was tripping.

In 2000 i would routinely eat 20+.. a couple of times i ate about half a sheet.. and usually never dosed under a 10 strip.  Though, I ate a 10 strip about a month ago and it was quite a different experience.. amazing what tolerance does for you.

The blotter I'm getting now is the strongest shit I've seen in a loong time, and I've been eating at least 10 to 15 hits a week on average. The most I've ever taken at one single time (by putting them all on my tongue at once) was 7, but I'm going to beat that and eat a strip soon.

I've seen dudes eat 20 hits before, and shit man, there really is no today, no tomorrow, no yesterday. It's just visions of eternity from there on out.

If I've learned anything from my LSD use, it's that I don't handle high doses very well. Unless I use it in combination with ecstacy, that is. Somehow MDMA seems to keep my mind from going into places that might freak me out on acid alone.

freaking out perpetualy is the onyl way i can take acid.
it really makes me a nut. i need like trees to run through. a skate park to thrash.
a bike to ride
or a festival to explore t take it really.
i pretty much act the same on super high dose as i do on a small day tip kinda dose. on higher doses i just kinda talk less

Lately, I've been mostly eating 10 strips whenever I trip. Haven't eaten much more than 10 doses in 1 sitting though. Eating just a few isn't the same anymore though, but I still do it as acid isn't exactly cheap.

know this is old but...

ate 11 hits of some estimated ~80-90ug, and very clean

best experience i've had with lsd outside of my first, and if i had the money and time i'd be eating no less than that almost every time. i really am curious, because it seems like the visuals are what have been increasing dramatically for me more than the mindfuck, but maybe in still larger doses (really wanting to try a half-sheet) both continue to grow

Re: High Dose LSD Experiences [Re: notapillow]

On my birthday earlier this year, just getting home from a 4 month *vacation*, my friend asked me if I wanted to get puddled. Now, I'd never think a friend would ACTUALLY puddle me, I didn't know he was that generous, I was preparing to eat 7 or 8 hits and he ended up squirting a whole 1/3rd of a vile into my mouth (probably more than 1/3rd)!!!

I was in no way prepared for this kind of dose, in not such a great mindset and the setting turned out to be pretty bad too. I was hanging out with some good friends, they were drinking a lot and smoking pot.

My friend put on this electronic song that COMPLETELY blew my mind and it definitely altered my mood.

I start getting really awesome visuals, where everyones body features dissapear and everyone is paper white. I walked into the bathroom to go pee, and shut the door behind me. Well i forgot to switch the light on, and within 10 seconds or so i had completely forgotten where i was. I thought my friends had set me up, locked me into this labrynth and the whole game was: WHERE YA GONNA PEE?! I started hearing all these dark voices in my head saying things like: I DON'T WANNA HAVE TO GET YA! WHERE YA GONNA GO? I peed in what i thought might be a toilet, or a trashcan (still don't know if i made it).

I began to see hundreds of purple and green rats everywhere, fucking scary shit! I mean, would you really think purple and green rats everywhere would be scary? Well it fucking was! People that weren't even really there were talking to me, scaring me, chasing me into dark corners and shit.

My friend handed me the bong, i really had no clue what to do with it, so i tipped it over and poored out the water on the couch. They were like WTF?! Obviously some of them didn't know how much acid i had eaten.

After starting to get too scared, my friend decided it was time to go home. On the ride i start thinking that it's all a conspiracy and that everyone had set me up, getting really paranoid. I kept telling them i had to pee i had to pee i had to pee, and expressing how fucking urgent it was. They weren't listening so i started screaming: PULL THE FUCK OVER! NOW! OR ELSE I'M JUMPING THE FUCK OUT!So pull over in the middle of the highway so i can pee haha!

On that much acid. You lose grip, lose control every 5-10 seconds! It's ridiculous! I kept having to ask "where are we going? what are we doing?".

So we get home and my friend says he's going to sleep! OH THANKS! I'll just lay here freaking out really hard, scared half to death while you go to sleep. I actually took care of this kid once when he ate way too much acid and wanted his mommy. I think I did a much better job than he did. So after being scared for a couple of hours, not knowing what to do, how to stop the insanity, i pulled out this stone that this beautiful girl gave me! Aylah!

So i just held it and repeated the word LOVE until i fell asleep. I woke up feeling perfectly fine the next day, it all seemed like a weird dream.

This is a very short version of the whole trip, just didn't want ya'll to have to read so much!

Looking back, it was a wonderful experience, although if I EVER do that again, it'll be in really awesome setting with really good people. By far the scariest experience i've ever had, and i've eaten plenty of 1/4 ounces of mushrooms, salvia, LOTS of dmt. Can't wait to do it again!

Advice for these sorts of experiences: A mantra can save your life!

most I ever took straight out was 2, but I have washed out a vial before and DAMN, that was an interesting bike ride...

I dont know where this thread came from, but I generaly take about two. That time I washed out a vial I did go for a long bike ride with a friend we brought some pot and my pipe and after about 30mins we remembered we forgot a lighter and spent about 20mins asking people we ran into for one. We ended up with a book of matches and realized that wasn't a good idea and just enjoyed our bike ride. He was only on two hits compared to my rinsed vial.

Another time when I was much much younger I was on about 600mg of DXM powder. (I haven't used DXM in over 4 years, and it was powdered, but say what you will). I was at a party type thing when I ran into someone trying to sell my K. I declined due to the Dissociatives already in me, but he said he had Acid too. I took the acid. I gave him five bucks and since it was in a semi public place just threw what he put in my hand in my mouth. Well it turned out, because he was on a decent amount of K at the time he had given me 5. I didn't learn this to a week later, but it certainly explained why I spent the rest of the night sitting in the same spot out of my mind. That was my second time on acid too, come to think of it.

I like to think I am much more respectful and responsible in my drug use.

By "freaking out," I'm talking more along the lines of thinking I'm going to die, that people are out to get me, or that I'm being sent to hell. In other words, a "bad trip"(though I find the term to be a great understatement of the experience).

I don't mind acting all goofy and crazy like a spaz if I'm having a good time, although I have made others uncomfortable with such behavior, as some other Shroomerites can attest.

I got a strip of this brown paper acid for my first trip on LSD.

I cut it into quarters, ate one.

Waited about an hour, nothing was happening, ended up eating more.

Nother hour, nother chunk.

I called up my friend, and she showed up as I was putting the last quarter of the strip in my mouth.

"This stuff is pretty weak"
"Well, gimme the last bit so I can stay up with you"

An hour after that, SHE was tripping.

I was, of course, levelled.

I remember standing out front of my other buddies house, and feeling the come up. I look down, the earth cracks like a mud flat in the dry season. I look at a white picket fence, it gets covered in moss and rots. I look at a tree, all the leaves fall off and the branches reach for the night sky.

"Uh oh"

We drove by a shopping plaza (someone sober was driving) and there's multicolor shifting graffiti all over the place, the rain is falling in geometric patterns.

I think I could handle those kind of experiences if I had an experienced trip-sitter with me. It's unfortunate that I'm such a loner, and don't have any close friends who I could ask to do that for me.

LSD suck compared to what is was in the 90's. Man How those black pyramid gels were fun.

ha, you made me laugh out loud. Those black pyrimids with the gold sprinkles on them were the shiz:) Every once and a while I still hear people talking about those. hehe i remember those had an actual flavor of lsd to them, mouth-watering (drools)

Sure '90-'95 was a great time for acid, mostly because of jerry imo.

I dunno, most I ever did was like 20-30 tabs of dancing skeletons (those were wicked), maybe 20 tabs of the jesus christ blotter from right after jerry died, and the jesus christ sheets were probably the most important paper i ever got on my hands, because i knew so well that it was the last real round after jerrys passing. I had three sheets of the Jesus Christ blotters, others i knew had them too, it was a sadly confusiing time, looking at those sheets was a strangely sad time of grieving..whoever laid them did a spectacular job.. those doses were.......important to us...

One summer i probably ate 100 hits over the course of a couple days, but i dont really count that because those werent as potent as they should of been back then.. i distributed a few pages of those that summer (some kind of white california blotter with some pages big gold smiling sunshines and others were bonsai trees) , had a blast, gave half of it away for free because it was only 50cents a tab

Now a days if I get doses I only eat 1-2-3 at a time (depending on potency), and try to conserve them as much as possible. No need to go off the deep end anymore, i just like a couple hits to go into the woods with my camera all day, stuff like that. I conserve them now best i can..... but there was just a shit-ton of potent and cheap acid to be found when jerry was still around.

its true often times a second perspective is needed to pull you out of some loops and such.
i remember last new years i spent a good 3 hours with a freind of mine. it was her second trip and she had never experienced anything like that (ego loss) and she is a very well composed and well spoken young lady. it took my prespective to reassure her that she would come back, she would not be insain, and that nothign was going to harm her

FUCK. YEAH.

i scored some of these at a rave in the mid 90s, took two and had an amazing time. had to leave the party due to being WAY too fucked up, but they were killer none the less. wasn't quite my strongest experience though, which is a toss up between a ten strip of green goblin doses from like 98 or 99, or six big squirts from a sweet breathe container a few years later. the sweet breathe trip was the funnest though, as i spent it on my parents pontoon drifting across a lake from around noon til sunup. at one point the entire lake and sky were filled with old typewriter font and tons of strange symbols constantly changing an spelling out indecipherable things i felt i somehow understood. beyond that, there were the insane motor boat reverberations, endlessly morphing jetski trails, and a giant sea plane which landed VERY close to the boat. i can't describe the noise an airplane makes when it splashes down in the water near you, roaring like mad, kicking up surf, and blowing mist with its props. wtf x 1000000. as things calmed down and the sun set, things got even more wild as the trip seemed to set into a totally different vibe. basically we zoned out for half the night watching dew collect on the boat and ourselves. by sun up, we were getting back to normal, but the afterglow was so amazing. the waves gently rocking the boat, the sun burning sooo bright behind the clouds. total awesome.
