Simon and Garfunkel, Anything else sound like them?
    #7717586 - 12/04/07 09:33 PM (16 years, 1 month ago)

I really like how they're voices go together, im not sure but i beleive the term is harmonic

the byrds kind of sounds like them aswell

but what other bands are out there that sound really good like this (harmonic) and have poetic lyrics?

--------------------
"Ten thousand flowers in spring
the moon in autumn,
a cool breeze in summer,
snow in winter.
If your mind isn't clouded by unnecessary things,
this is the best season of your life."

I don't think Simon and Garfunkel sound like CSN but I have only heard Sound of Silence. Deja Vu is my favorite CSN album.

"Kings of Convenience" kind of do but I think they're a little boring...

I agree. I'm not the biggest fan of Simon and Garfunkel. But I dig some of their stuff.

I am, however, a HUGE fan of CSNY
:smileyfrog:

speaking of CSNY, how come everyone is calling them CSN?
You're forgetting Neil!!!!
How can you forget him!?

That's a good question... I love Simon & Garfunkel. I don't seem to like most CSN I hear though.

Try The Memory Band's first album, or any of the 3 albums by Tunng.

I love simon and garfunkel. Paul Simon dead some solo stuff so you should check thoat out.

But the only band I can think of is The Shins. Some of you might disagree but I think they really sound similar.
