Simon & Garfunkle

Any fans?

I'm a huge fan of their work. Listening to Scarborough Fair right now, excellent

Sound of Silence stopped me in my tracks when I first heard it. I dunno what it is about it... essential tripping song imo.

I'd like to say I'm a fan

But I've only really heard their hits, Mrs. Robinson and Scarborough Fair and such

Where should I start with them?

Check out "Old Friends: Simon and Garfunkel." It's 3 CDs which cover their whole career together. The Concert in Central Park from the 80s is a great video. In terms of a vocal folk-rock duo there were not many better. And Paul Simon's songwriting--if listening to their albums--grows more complex with each record. And Simon's solo stuff is usually very good as well. "There Goes Rhymin Simon"--"Graceland"--"Rhythm of the Saints" are 3 good ones. Peace.

I love them. I dont like their popular stuff as much as their unpopular stuff it seems, but generally I love them.

My parents are big fans so naturally i grow up on them. The song "Hazy shade of winter" has always been a favourite of mine.
