tripping on mushrooms question

No more than a weak ago my friend fell out of a 30 foot tree, went through a wooden table and crashed onto the cement breaking his neck (like his 3rd vertebrae and fractured one of the lower ones). Well when I trip on mushrooms hard (my friend also) we get lower back pains, same with acid. Well I dont think his doctor prescribed him any pain killers, and hes away so he has to wait till he gets back to get some. They told him if it isnt healed within a month he has to go in for surgery. So my question is, is do you think he'll be allright tripping on mushrooms? With the whole spinal chord thing? You think it'll fuck anything up? What about being all nocked up on pain killers with em?

The back pain thing is all in your head.
There is no chemical/physical reason why your back should hurt from the use of Psilocybin or LSD. It just seems that this myth of crystalization of LSD in the spinal fluid has mushroomed the idea of back pain.
You and him are perfectly fine and your back pain is all in your head, like the phantom limb pain syndrome when no limb is present or has been amputated.
Although, TekHead is right, using any sort of hallucinogen or serious drug is the last thing i'd like to try with a healing back.

If i were him i would wait to trip. There is too much that could happen in his head that could go wrong. I mean if he is cool , calm, and collected then maybe its okay. But if he is in intense pain and hurting all the time and with this preconceived notion that you two say you get back pain why eat the mush right now. I dont htink it would help him at all but physically it wont hurt him. It is just his head may not be in the right place right now to trip out on these things.

Hi all
Listen m8 i wish the pain was in my head as I love tripping. But when I have acid, shrooms and sometimes E`s I get really bad back pains with muscle contractions in my back. I know its not in my head and I wish I could make it go away but not a chance I was lying flat on my back on the floor cuz of the pain the other night.
