You don't know if you have any programs on your comp. that you can reduce an image with?
I have something called PhotoImpression. That's what I use. I'm not sure if you can make a picture smaller with Photoshop or not.

If you have Windows then you have Paint. Open the image in Paint. Select 'Image' then select 'Stretch/Skew'. Change the vertical and horizontal proportions to something less than 100%.

I didn't even realize you could do that in Paint.
A parents computer is weird though, yes. IME, it's slower than shit and has a couple thousand unread e-mails in Outlook Express.

Yeah I find that many baby boomers have no idea how to maintain a computer.

Oh and once you're back on your computer I highly recommend downloading Gimp. It's great freeware that lets you modify an image in more ways than you can shake a stick at.
