Do you have a driver's license?

Every five years, the state of California requires us to renew our Driver's License.
There are a couple reasons for doing this: To update your picture, and to recheck your vision.

I renewed my license online about a week ago.
Just got the new card in the mail today.

Out of curiosity, I held the card under my ultra-violet lamp (blacklight) to see what
the imprinted image would be, which isn't visible under normal light.

For the longest time, the California cards had the State Flag with the bear in the center.
This is what I expected to see this time.

After holding the card under the light, I did in fact see that same flag with the bear,
but in addition to that, on either side of the flag, is a drawing of a marijuana leaf!

Imagine that - I think someone up in the DMV ranks is trying to tell us something.
Completely legalization may not be too far behind.

Everyone reading this should try examining their ID/License under the UV to see what images, if any, show up.
Let us know!

Ingenious edit:
Don't think I would be foolish enough to publish a picture of my license, so that my info would be in plain site for everyone to see.
Just isn't gonna happen.

If any of you have a California ID/License, check yours.

mine just has an out line of the state w/ the word Connecticut written across it.... on closer inspection it's not printed on the license but rather on a clear sticker placed on the license.

I also have to get my ID renewed. They change after you're 21.

just take a pic of your drivers license under a black light and use photoshop to blur / scribble out your details.
