My X roommate used to scare the hell out of me.. One time we were drivng down the 401 and all of the sudden she lost her cigarettes so she decided that she had to look for them while we were on the highway.. She was paying absoulutley no attention to what was happening and was swerving between lanes heavily.. She's one of those girls who has no idea where shes going so fearing for my life I told her to get off the highway and pull over.. She found her smokes underneath her ass.. She used to do the same thing looking for lip gloss too.. You all know how important it is to have moist lips while your driving..

experience is the key, but reality, women are better drivers than men, ask your insurance company why their insurance rates drop faster than yours.
Don't they also rise faster after they start getting much older while mens' stay relatively lower?

I would have smacked that ho upside the head if she was doing that with me in the car.

Interesting article about how the reckless driving "gap" between males and females is closing, resulting in insurance rates becoming similar for both sexes.
http://www.insurance.com/Article.aspx/artid/259
Still, the statistics reveal that men are involved in more accidents (not just more serious accidents), get more moving violations (tickets), and are more likely to drive while intoxicated and to drive aggressively.
Perhaps men have the edge in technically operating the vehicle, but make poor decisions about what they do while driving?

All women simply suck at driving. I've heard many women admit to this. The just don't have the 'driving' gene among many other things...

The driving gene? Is that located near the "play endless hours of video games" gene?
I'm a good driver. (And female.)
I took a comprehensive Driver's Ed course (from a male teacher ) before I got my license, and have never received a ticket or caused an accident. The one fender bender I was involved in was caused by a woman cutting in front of me from a side street, and I saw her so early that I was almost able to stop my car before it made contact with hers.
I have avoided countless accidents with male drivers who insist upon playing "Pole Position" in downtown traffic in order to shave 30 seconds off their morning commute, or who suddenly cut across traffic to make their turn (probably lost & refusing to get directions. ), or who change lanes without signalling (and without checking to see if another car is currently occupying the space they are moving into ), etc...etc...etc...
I was taught to be a defensive driver, never an aggressive driver, and it has served me well for 18 years on the road.

I suppose it's their hand eye coordination that's lacking. That's developed through playing video games.

Not to mention the expanded backside from sitting in front of the Xbox all day (providing more stability in the driver's seat), the callused thumbs from clicking buttons (better traction on the wheel), the belief that they will re-start after they lose this life, and the ability to envision "150 points" signs on pedestrians' heads.

My mom never caused an accident, the ones she's been involved in were always when her car was stopped, traffic lights, parking lots and once in our yard, a drunk driver at 3pm, he went through an obstacle course to get to it, interesting story for later. She used to race stock cars back in the 60's, an always had fast cars but never any tickets.

My mother has been driving since 1956 & has never gotten a ticket OR been in an accident. She's a very nervous driver, though, sort of hypervigilant, so driving is stressful for her.
I don't enjoy driving much, either, but that's mostly due to my 17-year-old car slowly dying.

living in atlanta all my life made me dislike driving, it's bumper to bumper traffic moving at 60-70mph and then it's all at a sudden stop because some one wanted to exit the freeway from 5 lanes over. most days it's stretched 30 miles out side of the city and always at a standstill.
