B+ cap harvesting question

I don't know if this means the veil broke. Okay so there was this big ball type thing on top of the shroom (the cap obviously) but it was completely a ball. Now today I look at it and the bottom of the ball part is starting to disconnect does this mean the veil has broken? or is it when the cap expands more that it means the veil has broken? when should i pick this shroom? thanks

After them mushroom opens up into an umbrela form and then right befor the veil looks like it's getting ready to drop and tear away from the stem, you pick the mushroom. Unless you are wanting prints then you wait tell the veil tears away from the stem then take the mushrooms and you should have good prints
