I highly doubt that Ps. cubensis grows in Maryland. Its definately not documented to. Thats not to sat its not possible though, and I'd probably look anyways. Panaeolus subbalteatus probably grows in Maryland. Check in old rotted hay in fields, horse parks, riding stables ect...Its season is spring and again in fall. Its sometimes is found in dung. But from what I hear, it is much more common in rotted hay. You might also find Psilocybe caerulipes in your state. The grow on deciduous wood and wood mulch. Apparently its preffers Birch and maple. Its season in generally August through October.

I'm no expert on hunting shrooms, in fact I want to find out if they grow where I'm from, but if you look in the grow/find section to your left and go to the find mushrooms, it has descriptions and areas the mushies grow in. If you haven't checked it out, you might want to. They surely grow in your area cuz I saw one type that grows "from Main to Carolina and West to Michigan". So you might want to give it a shot.
