I was wondering... how many people here (from the Southeast) pick these?


I see them at all my fields, but I typically leave 'em. I pretty much stick to only picking Psilocybe cubensis. I only pick the P. cyan's when I can't find ANY cubies.

7 to 10 fresh Copelandia cyanescens are equal to 3-5 grams of dried cubeis. They are a very potent species in the fresh stage and if handled pro[perly during and after picking retain about 80 % potency when dried at one dried gram per dose being equal to one dried gram of Psilocybe semilanceata (the liberty cap).

They are an awesome mushroom which need great care in handling. the less bluing and damage tot he stem will result in high potency. even in drying. Pictures are at my site of dreid speciemens with no or little bluing whatsoever.

I thought they were more potent than cubes. I had like 60 of them one time (equiv. weight of about three or so large cubes) and I boiled them up into a tea (filled one Sobe bottle). Holy crap was it potent. I passed it around to like 5 people.

I have pictures of that batch, but I guess I've reached my post limit or something. I'll post them later.

I believe he is saying that they are more potent...I doubt 7-10 are 3-5 grams dried. Handle with care and trip out man.

WEll sclorch, lets see now. You had about sixty shrooms. You passed them around to five other people, plus you makes about ten shrooms per person for your heavy high. I said the dosage was about 7 to 10 mushrooms and that sounds like about what you had.
