I know that my weed is not going to weigh up

I don't ever know any pot dealers, so I always have to get my weed through a friend whenever they can find it. Tonight I'm getting an ounce of weed that is supposedly called "Mental Floss". It's a $400 ounce. I'm already pissed off because I know it's not going to weigh up correctly. It never does. I've never met a pot dealer who knew how to weigh up pot correctly. Either that, or they intentionally short me.

So I know it's going to be short. I just don't know how to go about correcting the problem. I want this weed but I don't want to give this girl the full $400 if it's short a gram or two. I guess I will anyway and asked to be reimbursed as usual. What a pain in the ass.

Mental Floss is a shantibaba/mr.nice collab strain I believe.

That missing 1-2 gms, is more than likely a pinch from the person who got the sack for you.

It's pretty simple, tell her she can tell her dealer if he wants to sell a zone that you will buy one directly from him. And don't buy shit unless they throw it on a digi in front of you.

If you don't see it get weighed out it just comes down to being your bad, or a chance you're willing to take.

If your buying from a dealer your bags should be weight. If your going through a middle man, a gram or two for the guys troubles is standard for something like a zip. just make it clear that the bag needs to be weight and then YOU will break them off for their trouble, they shouldnt be taking your pot, but they do deserve a small bit.

I would not get a zip for someone if i wasnt getting a gram or two out of it. Why should i risk it for nothing?


Either go to a real dealer or deal with the middleman fee.

If somebody is going through the trouble to pick you up an oz I think like a .5 gram thrown their way is customary for their trouble. At least if you want em to do it again you should smoke a fatty with them.


But it should come from you after the fact, not them pinching before you see it, thats just shady and lame. And thats what it sounds like we got here. It sounds like she definitely is pinching; that price sounds a little middled too.

I'd say the best way to get her to stop is let her know you have a scale that you use or just complain but if she knows she is your only connect than there really isn't much else you can do unless you got something she wants

400 is pretty pricy too. Just go with and don't fork over the money until you see 28.0g on a scale you trust, preferably your own. The origenal dealer isn't going to nit-pick because 400 dollars is a pretty nice one lump sum and therefore is unlikely to start a beef with you over a measly gram or so. You should never have to settle for getting ripped off.

400 for an ounce is ridiculous, you are better off buing th400 dollars of brick and making hash oil.

2 g's is a lot when its fifty an eighth.

If he pre bags all his bags sometimes it loses some weight as it sits.

When I used to sell pot, I would bag up everything at one time and then stash, some a the bags would lose a very little weight, 2 g's over an ounce isn't that bad.

on the other hand if he bags it up to order then something is definitely wrong.

I agree with the other guys. Get it weight yourself or tell your friend to make sure you get the full ounce, that way you can blame him if you get short.

Easy when you make a habit of weighing everything. Nobody will think you are cheap or untrustworthy. Its just easier for everyone and saves the drama.

Sorry that I didn't reply sooner.  My friend came over and we were hanging out.  I'm happy to announce that it weighed up.  First time ever.  :grin:

Just to clarify, I hadn't already given someone the money.  I was just frustrated because it's a pain when I have the money and the weed doesn't weigh up.  Then you either have to ask him to bring you the other gram or whatever or prorate the freaking thing. 

So yeah, I'm happy to be wrong tonight.  :bigblunt:

Sometimes I'm glad I don't smoke weed.  The brewery's never short me.  I get 24-12oz cans in ever case I buy without fail.

When I did smoke, I use to get it from both dealer or a middle man. If I got it from a middle man.I would have to the smoke the middle man up.But, when I got it from the dealer.I didn't have to smoke him up.

no, you always have the option to walk away and leave them hanging. You're never obligated to buy. If I sent someone on a weed errand and they came back light or lacking in quality, I'd say 'fuck you' and not pay. I've done this before and the dealer never makes the mistake of trying to screw me again. You let them get away with it once and it starts becoming a habit.

Well, the middle man was just my friend who knows a girl who occasionally gets some weed to sell. She was doing me a favor by getting this from the girl. So since I don't know anyone else who sells weed, I don't really have the option of not getting it at all. I would have had to prorate it. But I didn't have to worry about that because luckily it weighed up.

Like hell, I'm paying 60 a 1/4 for Mex weed.When it's 30 1/4 and weighs    5gs and I have to smoke it with the middle man .Because, its the "rules".:shake:
