im talkin about an air purifier that uses a hepa filter.

will buying it make a difference enough to make it worth buying for an enclosed space to do fruiting in. there's a ton of cobweb mold around here.

Hepa filters are cheap. I've seen them for $20 and for the most part, they're worthless. What you want for successful mycology is a laminar flow hepa filter. Without laminar flow, you're just swirling the air around, which will pick up contaminants and blow them into your work. By working in front of a laminar air stream, the air, thus contaminants, leave the area of your work, flowing back towards you and away from the sterile media.

k. Thanks.

But what about for the purposes of filtering a small enclosed space. For example leave it on in the space for 30 mins, turn it off, and let the air stabilize, then do work in it, such as FAE or something. That'd at least be better than going in and spraying oust everywhere, wouldn't it?
