Enoki Cultivation

Anyone have info about cultivating Enoki (Flammulina veluptipes) mushrooms? these are an exotic gourmet species. oh and any info on places to order a culture would be appreciated. thanks




an image of them, they are small long stemmed small capped mushrooms.

The growth parameters are described in Stamets books and he also sells cultures: http://www.fungi.com/cultures/cultures.html

I have cloned it from wild but haven't been able to grow it so far. It needs relatively cold fruiting environment.

wow 40-50 f fruiting temp, thats cold, maybe ill try an outdoor patch this fall.
