 Riding Bikes While Shroomin?

Hey there. My friend and I have secured an 8th a piece for each other. We plan to eat them all and shroom this Friday. I came up with the idea of riding bikes around in the night like we used to do when we were kids. I have shroomed twice before and tripped LSD maybe 7 times but never tried to ride a bike. Do you think it will be fun or a disaster? I figure after the peak and when we have used up all the fireworks we can go for a ride. Lemme know if you have any similar expierences with bike riding and shrooms.

i dont know how difficult it will be the first time u try on shrooms or acid, but i know the first time i rode a bike while high, it was really hard, but the more u do it the easier it gets, so if you ride around enough im guessing u'll get the hang of it

Man i thought of the exact same thing yesterday! Although i was going to do it so i peaked just before the sun was setting, and in an area of my hood that didnt have much traffic, and maybe a park nearby so if things got too fucked i could sit down and laugh a bit.

I rode my bike at a park on a couple hits of acid. It was pretty fun and the exercise put me in a great mood. If you bike regularly it should be easy. I did it during the daytime. The lights and shadows mess with me more at night so I think it might take a little more concentration then.

I ride bike shroomin all the time.. Its my favorite shroom activity.
I road race and ride several miles daily, when Im on shrooms and I ride hard I just dont get tired. its like I have perfect control over my heart and breathing, I can push myself to the point of exaustion but can still do a two mile sprint and when I stop my breathing goes right down to normal and my heart rate goes to normal verry quickly.
The entire time Im singing songs in my head, I dont know if this super rideing power is a result of deep concentration or no concentration at all?

Haha that sounds great. I am really excited for this trip. I have a trip buddy I have tripped with in the past 3 of the 10 times I have ever tripped and every time we have never really planned out the trip and it always resulted in dosing with my parents asleep upstairs. While it was restricting we managed to get outside once and travel around .. even saw a meteor shower. But I have always had this nagging feeling of my parents. Well this trip will be different. My mind is filled with such good things. I am moving out Sept. 1st into an awesome house with 2 friends and Sept 15th I turn 21. My parents at this moment are packing up to leave for Scottland on a week and a half trip. I just got back from a week long road trip to New York with my friend. I bought a huge amount of fire works and got them for this trip comming up. We have had this planned for 2 weeks now and its hurting to wait the final few days. I am planning to eat an 8th since half an eigth has provided a lvl 3 trip last time. I always loved bikes when I was a kid and still have mine ready to go for Friday. It will be my last trip in this house and neighborhood and a bike ride would be great. We have everything planned up and set to go for what we may wish to do once we start tripping. I know of course it never is how you plan but I only have planned things to do. The include a video camera, fire works, my pond in the backyard with waterfall and fish, deserted acres of land behind my house and bike rides! My friend is great and loses his ego easily so we can talk metaphysics and pretend to understand the world. I am so excited!

this reminds me of somthing really funny. Once when i was a kid me and my friends had this spot we smoked pot at. It was on a hill right by the rode. well one day my mom was driving around looking for me and she see me smoking pot with my friendsl. so shes all pissed off and telling me to get down and get my bike and ride home. so im like oh shit im busted, well i get my bike and start riding...(this is like only like the 4th time i smoked, so i was really high...remember the first few times you smoked??) well she waits for me to start riding on the side of the road and i swear to god she follows me going the same speed i was just right behind me on the road. I remember i was all worried and really paranoid that i was riding really horrible but i actualy think i did alright...not really on topic but just thought id share... i think it would be fun to ride bikes while on mushrooms..especialy on a warm summer night...

I've riden a bike while shrooming and it was fine but my friend freaked out, said the road kept slanting and throwing him to the ground. He sat on the curb and started crying until I promised I wouldn't ask him to ride the bike. Weird! He was perfectly fine after that and we walked our bikes home.
Just be sure you ride where there's very little traffic. I had no problems operating the bike but had zero consentration for watching out for cars.

riding & frying is a lot of fun, especially if you ride regularly. you feel like you can go forever.....
word of caution, though. 1/8 each can be a pretty serious dose, especially if you haven't tripped that many times.(if you can still count how many times you've tripped, you haven't tripped that many times.)
also, at night the visuals can fuck with you pretty hard. take it from someone who has endured a broken ankle and a trip to the emergency room on two hits of acid, you do not want to wreck your bike and hurt yourself while you are high. it REALLY sucks.
my advice is to cut the dose in half for the first leg, just to be sure it is not overwhelming. you can always add. you can't subtract. also, ride in an area that you are very familiar with. getting lost sucks too.

Yes, you should do that...I have had great experiences with that, you should bike latenight when all the cars are gone, or the best to do would be to find some good nature trails and bike them.

Thats good advice... I thought we could bike later when we were comming down a bit.. I really wanna trip hard again.. my first trip was 4 hits of acid. I havent tripped that hard since and want to trip hard again. You are right though hospitals would completly ruin the whole thing!

I rode a bike around in large circles out in a parking lot while tripping on acid once. I was coming down then but it was still amazing.

If you are used to riding a bike it is no problem in a trip if there's no traffic around.
I use my bike every day and in a trip it's the best way to travel to another place.
Only sometimes it is hard to judge distances. Once I almost drove into a ditch because I thought it was ways ahead but it was right in front of me... 
And if you decide to ride a bike never do a very long straight road because it will never end

I've ridden a bike on acid, FUCKING CRAZY. My legs were moving with the sound of the bike, so my legs were CLICKING into place on the pedals, fucking wierd. I rode my bike down the street, tripping SOOO HARD on 6 hits of blotter, I had no problem with balance (that I could tell). Anyways, I rode to a church, and observed the lights turn into a spotlight on me, I got down on one knee and prayed. Excellent ride

Was tear assing through my neighbourhood like a rat in a firestorm! Fucking GREAT! Had myself a nice selection of music, hard electronic music, quite a mix actually... Heh, picture a kid in a glowing hawaiian shirt wearing pilotshade glasses ripping out of tha dark between parked cars in the burbs. All the while yelling "BABY's GOT AN ATOM BOMB! YAH!" at innocent bastards along the way.
Oh yah, you'll probably want to pack some water with you for when your body finally gives out.

one of my favorite trips is to eat about 3-4 grams dry, take a walk in the woods while coming up, trip in my room for the peak with some good music and my eyes closed, and then go for a nice long bike ride while coming down. Its a great way to end a great refreshing trip.
