 Shroomin two days in a row ... doubling up question

Lets say I eat 2 grams dried shrooms on Friday and want to trip (on shrooms) again on Saturday (about 32 hours later). How many grams do I eat?
I know it's like one of those shitty math questions from grade school, and I know the logical answer is to just "double up". But I have a low threshold tolerance and the thought of eating 4 grams is pretty far beyond anything I've done to date, and that includes a lot of trippin. So what do you say? same? 3 grams? 3.5 grams? Real life experiences are greatly appreciated.

To get the same effect as two grams 32 hours after you'll have to eat two, maybe 3 times what you did to acheive the same effects as two grams. That's tolerance, and its a bitch.
I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then I could keep both Dracula AND Superman away.

Tripping two days in a row sucks...the second trip will never be able to compare to the first. Tolerance sucks. In fact it is almost pointless to trip two days in a row. My advice, pick the day that you think would be best and just trip one day.
Most of the activities described above are dangerous and/or illegal and none are recommended.

my advice is not to have ANY shrooms left over to trip with on the second day - take them all on the first!! :-)

I know my opinion is not a popular one amongst trippers, but in my experience you can have a descent trip 2 days in a row on the SAME dosage of shrooms. In fact, I have tripped hard on a Friday and turned around just 24 hours later on Saturday and had a really fun and mellow trip on 1/2 of what I took the night before. I have never had any real problem with tolerance when it comes to shrooms. The biggest problem for me is that my body gets so exhausted from the experience.
Acid, on the other hand, definately loses potency for me two days in a row. I tripped on acid on a Friday (5 hits) and the next night took 20 hits of the same stuff and got NO effect! I was pissed I wasted all that good acid!
But I would still reccomend picking a single night and just tripping one time. It is better for the mind and the body. And if you decide to trip twice, don't automatically think you can take a 'double dose' the second night and feel the same. You might get in over your head by doubling up the second night on shrooms. And then the only thing you will remember from the weekend was the crappy experience from the second night.

On a sunday night I did 2 grams of shrooms. Then on monday me and my friend couldnt find any weed at lunch.. so we decided to do the left over shrooms we had and see if it did anything to us... (about 2 grams again) At first i could sort of sense that something wasnt right with the way everything looked. I didnt see any visuals yet though. So i figured it was just starting to kick in. SO we decided to not go to our afternoon classes and crash at my place. The walk home was pretty much the same thing... me looking at the ground and at trees to see visuals but nothing really. Then when we got to my house i tried staring at the carpet and if i looked at it long enough and concentrated then i could see patterns slightly. The rest of the afternoon was just me sitting there thinking to myself "How could i be so stupid to skip class all the time?" and "I should stop smoking weed everyday and concentrate on school more" and "What am i doing with my life" It was more of a mind job then anything else... so now i span it out to about a week or two in between trips.

Opivynfg- Back when I was tripping on a regular basis 20 hits was not that big a deal. But I spent most of 1992 pretty fucked-up. Even now though, I don't scoff at 8 or 10, even if I haven't tripped in a long, long time. Large doses of acid are easy for me to handle, but large doses of shrooms kick my ass!!
BTW- does your name have something to do with the band Operation Ivy? I love thier music!!
