You know what i hate more than anything? People who dont take a shower or bathe on a regular basis.

Some people only take a shower like once a week, and its f**king gross, it really sickens me. Do they think that the laws of dirt and physics dont apply to them, and that they dont smell? Or are they so f-ing lazy that they dont take the time to shower, but once a week.

My roommate is one of these dirty people- and im tempted to ask him why.

I guess the point im getting at here is why my black roommate only takes one shower a week? Is it just this one person, that happens to be black that only showers so seldom, or is it most black people in general? Should i ask this guy- i dunno if that would be rude or not- so i took my questions to the shroomery- help.

here is the kicker he is a gay too, which is pretty strange aswell. I thought gays were all about cleanliness, especially after that whole Aids thing.

I think he doesnt bathe just because its a black thing. Something that most nonblacks will never understand, just because blacks are too ignorant to their own actions and reasons for not bathing but once a week.

I showered over 24 hours ago and I don't wanna clean up now either, I'm on 4 of 6 and watching the scoreboards to see if I should start gambling on football again next pay period.... which is never good...

well i think its a black thing, as well as being a personal thing. I think that blacks have a predisposition to not bathing, because it runs in the family, many were brought up this way.

I've talked to some mixed friends and they seemed passionate about their disgust towards their black relatives who opt out of bathing for the majority of the week.

who is racist? not me. Im just human and i draw connections from what i see.... or in this case smell.

Anyone been near some black people after a good rain? I remember from school that if it was raining outside, then many black people in my class would smell when we came back in from recess. I dont know why they did tho.... still dont.

Some people don't need to bathe very often because they eat a healthy diet that doesn't produce offensive body odors. The rest of them are just filthy, horrible smelling people that probably wouldn't shower before their own mother's funeral.

Well it's not a black thing because I know PLENTY of black people that can't go a day without taking a bath and on the flip side I know plenty of white people that can go 2 weeks without taking a bath. It's all in laziness really and some people don't think they smell bad. It's kinda a 'Well if I can't smell myself than no one else can' and if knowone ever tells them then they keep doing it. You best bet is the ask him about it I suppose. By the way is he fat?

That's funny because I've heard the exact same thing about white people. There was thing about my school that white people smelled like wet dog after a good rain, but I've never smelled it. But hey who knows lol

i like bathes
but i haven't taken one in years

but showers are almost daily

after a while of not showering

no my roomate is a skinny gay black dude.

And the comment about smelling like a wet dog, ive smelled that too and at our school it came from the black kids.

I think its all about how you were raised. Majority of black families have been raised to only shower once a week, and that tradition gets passed on through the generations.

Its still pretty gross tho. I feel like black people feel like they have a reason to be so lazy when it comes to bathing. I mean when i dont wash my hair it gets all greasy and nasty, and u can tell just by the look that i havn't bathed. I think that blacks dont bathe because you cant tell just by looking at a person of black that they havn't.
