Honestly I'm somewhat happy about this. Now the Yanks get to face the Indians instead of the Angels in the first round and we're 6 - 0 against them this year. Plus now that the face is over we've got some time to take it easy. The post season ought to be fun.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

He had a little shoulder pain and he's very young, so Francona's taking no chances with him.

We expect great things from him in the future, so I guess it's "better safe than sorry".

I would have loved to see him pitch a start or two in the playoffs.

I'm really happy for the Red Sox. The division championship is a great consolation prize when they're sitting on their asses in late October.

This is true. The Sox, and everyone else will be sitting and watching as the Chicago Cubs hoist the trophy and fullfill the "Worst to First in One Hundred Years" program that was instituted on the north side, well, 100 years ago.
