Actually, I just did this and described it in a different post. Unfortunately, I think the heat may have killed my spores. See my post in Mushroom cultivation.

I would have been tempted to just make the holes bigger!

IMO the Oven tek is bollocks. I can't even see it working in theory and it sure don't work in practice.

Still, you are bound to get some of the jars through OK. Just have to wait and see.
