My brugmansia.

Just went outside infront of my house and took a pic of my plant :





I never was growing it for drug purposes but now I think Im planning on wanting to try it but Im not sure how.

That is a really cool plant. I don't recommend trying it but the best way would be a tea. Just cook it like a regular tea and it will taste bad but trust me it does work. Hope you know this plant is not safe to take, I am not saying this because it is a hallucinogen but because it is toxic. People do die from eating it.

Ya I was gonna do a tea but I have no idea how to prepare it or what I take from the plant and make the tea with.

I also wanna learn a safe way to take it and start low and one thing I am aware of is that it's toxic so I wanna be safe while trying.

definately one that should be appreciated for its beauty rather than its ethnobotanical value...

if u dont recommend trying it, stop talking about making tea from it...
that never has been, nor ever will be a safe way to try it :rolleyes:

if u feel that u really NEED to try it, perhaps smoking a small amount of the dried flower would be the safest option...
dont consume any part of that plant if u appreciate your existence in this world...

yes.

every part of the plant is full of nasties... leaves, roots, flowers, seeds...

use the search function on here and read up about it...
i hear that the effects are not pleasant anyway, deleriants suck, unless u like the feeling of being seriously disorientated...

hit the erowid experience vaults too and read the trip reports on there about it... i dont think that there are any pleasant ones...

I love deliriants.

Ive tried Datura and this is evry closely related but im very new to these plants.

Edit: Can I die from smoking it also? If I smoke it I need a pipe ? Smoke it like weed or Salvia with constant flame? I don't use a very big piece of the trumpet right? but is there a size to look for

datura is pretty much the same thing as brugmansia in terms of being fucking poisonous...

i cant offer any dosage or method advice on the smoking sorry... thats one for the psychedelic experience forum regulars to advise u on...

if u use the search function im sure u will find that sort of information.

Nice brug! I have been experimenting with low dose datura stramonium and have yet to hit a threshold dosage. I've tried up to 15 seeds eating and up to 4 bowl hits of leaf material smoked. From what I gather, the area(that I am looking for) between not feeling anything and the classic end up naked in a field atropine/scopolamine journey is very thin. I would'nt recommend that most people try datura or brugmansia. If you want to try it, do'nt. One should only experiment with it when it is hir duty to do so.

Well I feel like I just need to try it. Ive had it for so many years and ive always wanted to do it and I want now to be the time when ive done deliriants a lot the only thing stopping me is that I don't wanna end up in the hospital so I need to find a safe amount to do.

Il do it by smoking I guess so Il just pack a bowl and hit it.

If you must try it, start with so little you don't think it could possibly do a thing, and work your way up to a threshold dose

Now that is the most insane thing I have ever heard. Never smoked the plant before but I know for sure the tea works. I am sure smoking would be better. You are the third person I have heard of that likes angle trumpet and the only person I met who liked it was completely insane. Like someone else said don't use this plant if you value your life at all.

Time to bring the plant inside soon and take cuttings and get more plants started for spring time!

I have 5 of them this year but only this one put flowers because the others were in a more shady area...

I might start growing Datura this year as well, hmm endless possibilities.
