ususally. when they stop growing for a day or so.. and the cap part of the pin turns from a light brown to a dark brown.. they are dead. i would cut them off and save them.. if you have enough.. they are very potent..

cabby i think your shrooms might just be growing slow, how large are they, or actually how small....and what temps are they growing at..they grow much much slower at lower temps.

its my two cents.

i have a similiar problem that my shrooms stop growing after becoming like 2 cm tall. then they abort.

now i was told that this was partially due to lack of fresh air...i have changed that, the humidity is high, and everything else seems to be in tune with wht shrommage lists as the growing params, but i cant seem to get a mature mushie!!!

well, they are about half to one cm tall, light caps... temps are about 72-78 (I can't control the temps much) they do get fresh air, once a day, sometimes twice, but never more then that... I don't live where I'm growing, so I can only check once or twice a day. I've got lots of pins, but hardly any real growing shrooms... any more suggestions? (they are growing in normal room light, not direct sunlight...)
