Temp Fluctuations?

If I keep the temp between 75 ad 85, but it fluctuates often (but only between 75 and 85), is that going to mess up the mycellum growing rate at all? Please say no.

The rate of growth will fluctuate. Whether or not this will cause any significant negative outcomes is the question.

YES it will effect the growth rate of said mycelium . Keep those temps as stable as possible , try to maintain a tighter range if possible in the 80-86*F range . But even with your temp swing a good healthy colony will do all it can to survive and do what you want it to , so do not be too worried if you can not control this temp swing . Good Luck

I don't know from experience, but it seems like that would make less of a difference. The thallus needs stable temps because thats what is has in nature. Example: even after dark, the substrate maintains heat from the day time. The fruit on the other hand, are naturally exposed to air with fluctuating temps between night and day, so in theory, it should not make much difference. Although there is probably an optimum for fruit growth.

It can affect overall flush values and pinsets , but is not as critical as during incubation process . The temp range you mentioned is fine during fruiting stages , so do not be overly concerned .
