Whats this "popping" my older freind has told me about?
    #7387226 -

So,
Have people heard of FIM? I guess it stands for Fuck I Missed. Thats where you snip the terminal bud or something right? Well, I was asking this same question and my older (40's) freind told me that you should 'pop' the stem underneath where a bud would form and it sends 'energy' to that branch and makes the buds more potent/dense.. I'm not so sure about it and didnt want to kill off my only plant/female this year

you can pinch the stem and bend it ect..
this is called supercropping I think. I dont remember lol but it does work. the spot you squeeze will be rock hard in a week and stronger.

Uhhh how come no one has mentioned how fim is when you top the plant but leave some leaf allowing more vertical growth, more tops.

If you top it will bush out more than fiming.

bud grow here: V in the angle .
So if the branch is say like this: ---------<
and i should pinch here?: ^

So pinch the branch AROUND that spot like on the sides or should i squeeze to pinch it for the underside only?

I need a pic or somthing.. im freakin out!

well any part of the stem you like as long as it isn't woody and old.
then you pinch the stem between your fingers to squish it and then it will bend easier. if you bend without squeezing it it could snap the stem so therefore you want to soften it up first.
this method I saw in a growing dvd and they used it to keep the plants shorter by bending the stem down.
you can get a 90 degree bend this way.
