HELP! KANNA in trouble broken stem.
    #1785394 - 08/06/03 04:47 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

received a plant from an online dealer (don't worry none from here @ shroomery) and when i opened the package the stem was snapped. what course of action should i take to save it. i took the main stem annd replanted it in a 16oz plastic cup with miracle gro pottin soil and watered it some. watered the bottom 1/2" of the stem that was left and praying for a miracle. anyone offer some insight to ensure my survivability of these plants? thanks people

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.

Hopefully if the bottom half of the plant wasnt battered too much it will do good and grow more, i snapped one of mine and it has doubled in size over a few weeks.. so its all good. You might try to dip the top half in rooting hormone and plant it and keep it just a lil humid.. it might root to.. give it a shot.. . keep us updated

Hmmm with my experience, I find full sunlight turns sceletium into goo.. I have mine under 2 48" tube flouro's and they are doing great.. everytime i try to put mine even in the least sunny window it goo's... As for watering i would keep the soil semi moist, or water when you see the top layer has dried.. but for recovery i might keep it more moist for now..

welp keeping them inside near a window that has some miniblinds on it to get some indirect light but won't be in the harsh humid conditions of my zone (the carolinas).
