An "Anonymous" forum

I think it would be cool if we had a forum where one could post and it would just list "anonymous" as the poster. So, people could say whatever they wanted without fear of it tainting their online reputation.

yeah, there are some things that would be good to post without tarnishing your reputation.

An anonymous forum would be way cooler. Imagine all of the sordid secrets that people would tell. Imagine all of the people who would just come out and say how they really felt about other Shroomerites. It would be the most entertaining forum on the site.

This idea has been discussed before. I believe Wiccan_Seeker presented some strong points in favor of this. I think it simply came down to it being a question of user demand. Its a very interesting idea, and people are already expressing interest in it.

Personally, I think it is an interesting idea as well, but I have a feeling I wouldn't personally participate. I'm curious if the idea exists more as a novelty, and will not receive enough long-term usage to be justified. :shrug:

Drum up some interest. :headbang:

Maybe it could be a subforum under OTD?  As a forum it would obviously be more for established members to air dirty laundry and such.  It would not be a place for newbies.

If your Main Index, like mine, is set to only show "Favorite Forums" then that forum won't show up until you go there and toggle "Favorite Forum!" at the bottom.
