what do you do with contaminated jars?

Do you clean them or toss them? I'm a newbie just wanting to know for the future.

There cheap enough to throw away, which you prolly should with some of the andromeda strains you can get... but if it's cobweb, you can reuse it... The problem isn't future contaminations from this original contamination. The problem is the nasty stuff it can do to you health if you open up and breath it.

What about burying them for some outdoor cultivation?

throwing them outside is what moe was talking about......he has some really awesome outdoor tech threads throughout the forums. moe you are the man....or at least one of them:)

he's talking about jars, not cakes.
sure, clean the jars and re-use.
i soak mine 20-30 minutes in a bucket of bleach water [1/2 c. bleach/5 gallons water] to kill any nasties before opening contam'd jars, then dump the dead cakes and rinse to re-use.
