There are now more Wii's in gamers hands than Xboxs!!

I find this amazing considering that Microsoft had a full year jumpstart.

I can't wait - Metroid Prime 3 comes out tomorrow.

haha... If I was 10 years old I would own one... But I'm 33. :smile:

I played it for about 3 hours, and I was satisfied... and back to my 360 for some real games.

It is a cool thing overall, but it's crazy to think hard core 30something gamers are going to abandon PS/Xbox... It outsells 360 because it's half the price, and parents need to buy SOMETHING!

Real Games? Hahahaha...That's far from what a REAL gamer would say;-)...the best games are usually disguised as the fruitiest, gayest stuff, you know, to keep the fake gamers out.

No, real games are rated M and come out on PS3 and 360... :smile:

Yeah, but I could find 10 games on the Xbox Arcade for $10 that would be equally good for "stoner" time...

Put it this way... If I had kids or a live-in girlfriend, I would own a Wii.

yea wii's arent that cool... the graphix suc and there are no good rpg's for the system. and if their were nobodys goona want to stand for 10-12 hrs waving their hands around.

Super Monkey Ball is one of the best games ever. It makes Ninja Gaiden look like an easy fuckin' game.

Super Moneky Ball is too hard for most gamers;-)

i just use my PC to satisfy my gaming needs. if i really wanted to, i could connect my xbox controller to it for the console experience. the games are free (not legally, mind you), and the graphics are HD on my 19" widescreen. i just cannot justify to myself paying $500 for a console and extra controllers, then having to pay another $60 every time i want another game.

however, i did see a gamecube on craigslist for 50 bucks that included a memory card, two controllers, and ssbm, resident evil 4, & mario golf. so that, i'll buy. or at least try to buy... the person hasn't emailed me back yet. sad sad sad

It's called "the economy".

If everyone was like you, there would be no games to steal. Game designers can't work for free.

And I just got another Xbox360 for $350, brand new... not $500.

hells yeah it is. especially since imma go halfsies on it with my roommate, so i'll only be paying $25. i hope that dude emails me back and hasn't already sold it. ssbm is so friggin addictive. and resident evil 4 is fun as hell too.

i said for the console and extra controllers. the only reason why i'd even consider getting a console is for multiplayer purposes. it's $400 for the premium xbox360, right? then another 60 for another controller. so that's $460 + 7.5% tax in my state. ends up being $494.5

but you're right. it is necessary for games to get funded. i just don't play games enough at all to justify the expenses to myself, being the broke ass i am.

$350 for 360 Pro... comes with a controller. $49 for another.

Besides, multiplayer with everyone in the same room is so 2002... :smile:

Multiplayer, to me, means everyone is at their own home with their own 360, playing over the magical interwebs. :shrug:
