Banez, just wondering: what were your thoughts on nintendo before the wii? Just wondering since i did like nintendo alot up until the gamecube(good at the start, but really died badly, nice controllers though), so was wondering if you always prefered xbox and all them to nintendo or not?

hm.. i actually didnt even mind gamecube all that much.. my problem with nintendo is generally the controllers they make, and of course the line of games

microsoft tends to have better games (atleast my kind of games, sports/ rpgs).. and i just like the layout of the controllers better

I have a Wii and a 360, so let me break it down for you.

Wii Pros
-Better for groups. Gets people laughing and more involved, very party like.
-Addicting as all hell, your 360 may feel lonely
-A lot more like virtual reality, new and refreshing.
-Smaller system size, quieter, and more affordable- geniusly crafted
-If you get excited like me, you'll find you can actually get a lot of exercise

360 Pros-
-Better for showing off that new HDTV: eye candy
-Already has online support while Wii wont get its first online game and browser until sometime following Christmas
-The controller is much better than Gamecube's or PS3s, it's sleek, comfortable, and just looks good (you can't compare it to Wii's because that's a whole different story)

I obviously side with the Wii, but if you have the money, buy a 360 as well- the two are great together. Especially if you have an HDTV. 360 is nuts.

In response to the first dudes post- I'd say get a wii, you and your friends will have a blast. Grown men will have the most fun with this because of the physical activity and the competition involved (you can relax and play two, it wont screw up anything)

had mine reserved and its the most fun ive had since i got my super nintendo...and the fact that you have access to all these classic games with a growing number every week or so...that makes a whole lot of fun in that tiny little thing

the wii is very fun, period. it's too unique to atleas not experience. imho, if MGS3 would release on the WII that would be the tombstone for all the other new consoles

the wii is very fun. i think nintendo did a good job. i love the controller. the only game i didnt like much was red steel.
