yeah the aiming system in metroid prime 3 is supposed to rock the socks off first person shooters. Theres a video somewere around the web, it looks SICK, like you can runn around and look around and shoot sideways and run at the same time. it looks gnarly,


ps the best buy around here has Wii' in stock as does target. If you really want one I can pick it for you pay shipping.

I'm having the same problem, I got enough gift certificates to buy a wii for christmas but none of the EBs around here have them in stock so I just keep phoning the store every day. Too bad that locator only lists auctions.

I just went to Best Buy, they had stacks of ps3's ... but the guy told me that the wii sold out within an hour of them opening. Dammit. I want to get it from BEst Buy cuz I have 100 bucks on a gift card for there...

You could always buy it somewhere else and use the gift card to buy games for it, they're about that expensive anyways. You might be able to get two.

I've been online with my Wii, but not with a game, if that's what you mean. I've played around with the globe of earth that tells weather forecasts everywhere and I've been using Wii's internet browser. It's kind of hard to read web pages on my TV, but I've mostly been watching videos.

Banez, im sorry but i really dont think you fully know wat your talkin about man. the Wii is a fucking sick ass console and p4ksoul speaks the TRUTH! the controllers change is what makes the whole difference! the way you use the wii-motes and the nun-chuck is wat makes the wii so much fun. your alot more interactive with the games because your using two seperate controllers with both hands

im so glad i got the wii now tho. i got zelda with it, along with rayman-raving rabbids and CALL OF DUTY 3. that game is the fucking greatest. the graphics on that game make you feel like your really in the war, and its insanely real-like, the way you hold the controllers to shoot and move around and throw grenades and....man all kinds of shit.

the zelda game is fing sick too. when you use your sword or sling shot, you swing your controller around to do slash attacks, and jab with your controller to use a stab attack. and you point at the screen with the wiimote to aim your slingshot and more.

with wii sports its all real like. when you play TENNIS, you actually swing it to hit the tennis ball, and boxing you jab at the creen and hold your dukes up to block and dodge and you can throw uppercuts and roundhouse and fucking EVERYTHING! with bowling you underhand swing the wii mote to bowl, and golf, same thing.

for the most part you can understand by now that the wintendo wii is dope as fuck.:thumbup: its the new generation game console to change the way of gaming, and gaming controllers. seriously, the wii is def something to invest in so if you can obtain one you will not regret it.

mainly i only got the wii to later get he new SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL! because smash bros is pretty much just THE sickest VIDEO game ever, and i wanted it, but now i know the wii is great for many other games too!

yea but anyway, you guys get my point. the wii is sick, go get it, plain and simple.:grin:

wii sports is the only thing ill play on it... the gf likes the rabbit game

im sorry i just dont think its a better console than xbox, ps3, or xbox360.

how can you say i dont know what im talking about, ive owned it since the day it came out.. and have numerous games.. including zelda.

another flaw... the sensor.. its set up on the TV, (we bought the wii for my gf's little brother).. hes about 5'0'' and im almost 6'0''.. so i have to crouch to play games such as baseball, and boxing.

dont have those games... we have madden, need for speed carbon, the rabbit game, zelda.. and wii sports.

im not wasting another cent on that system.

II have to say...Cod3 sucks and is nothing like the pc counterpart. Really disappointing it feels so arcadeish

Though zelda does kick so much ass and splinter cell is alright i cant get into it really.

Did anyone download any games yet?

Also anyone know why my wii freezes when i go to the mii, just sticks at black screen
